Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, meaning ‘One India, Best India’ , is an initiative of the Government of India to promote cultural integration and mutual understanding among states and union territories. Launched in 2015, it encourages people to explore and appreciate the diverse traditions, languages and heritage of different regions, promoting national integration. The event is being organised in all KVs as an annual cultural festival showcasing the rich national heritage and unity in diversity.
